Is it a real translation?

No, it's for fun. PurrBark really does recognize the kind of sound your pet made (meow, purr, hiss, bark, howl, whine…) and measures it, then an AI writes a playful line your pet might say in that mood. If PurrBark hears no pet sound, it tells you instead of making something up.

It says it didn't hear my pet

Hold the phone close (about 1–2 feet) and record while your pet is actually meowing or barking, in a quiet room. A take with no pet sound doesn't use up a free translation.

My pet doesn't react to Talk to Pet

Every pet is different. Try a few different phrases, a bit louder, and the sound board's calling meows, squeaky toys or whistle. Some pets lose interest quickly; short sessions work best.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On your iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › PurrBark › Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends to avoid the next charge. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I bought Pro but it's not active

Open PurrBark › Settings › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy.

How do I delete my data?

Everything is stored on your iPhone: Settings › Delete all pets and translations, or delete the app. See the Privacy Policy for what our server receives.
